The National Traffic System (NTS) affiliate Northern California Net (NCN) has continued its CW operations for over 40 years.
This message was received from the group’s lead net control station, WB6UZX –
“Yes, NCN is still going on both sessions. I have been the net manager for a while.
Some members must have moved away at the start of COVID, but there are still some active regular members – sometimes the slow session only has NCS and RN^ check-ins.
We moved to 3533 KHz some time ago. NCN1 at 1900 local, and NCN2 at 2100 local.
I am also the RN6 liaison for several sessions.
Looking forward to hearing you on the nets.”
