QST via John / N6QX: a licensing class that’s coming up in just a few days —
To Technician License Holders:
Santa Cruz County ARES will conduct a free series of Zoom classes beginning January 11 to prepare Technician Class amateur radio license holders to pass the General Class exam. The class will be more than just a review of the exam questions: we will also explain the technology and operating practices behind the questions, and feature short presentations by hams experienced in amateur radio HF operation, public service, DX hunting, contesting, and CW. Anyone with a Technician license is welcome.
More course information is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T6U2JytyaYG7Fr6OvHG_6EaCiVEwlOdn/view
Registration deadline is January 6. If you’d like to attend, please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA9A822A4F4CE9-general
To experienced General and Extra Class hams:
Would you like to share your enthusiasm for an aspect of HF operation in a short, five- to ten-minute Zoom talk to our class members? If so, please reply to me (only).
