The CQ DX Marathon Program, via Mark / WC3W
The CQ DX Marathon Program is the fastest growing DX program in the world today having grown 46% in 2022. It is not a contest, instead it is a “marathon” of working DX stations from January 1 through December 31st. Each DX country/DX entity scores one point and each CQ zone scores one point. At the end of the year, the program sums these two and that is your score. It is very simple with no confirmation such as QSL cards or LOTW required. We have many plaques and certificates for people who achieve a certain level of performance. There are many categories of participation to choose from, placing the participant on a level playing field with similar stations throughout the world. It is an international program with approximately 70% foreign and 30% Americas participation. You can still work contests, and DXCC. Any stations worked while participating in these activities qualify as worked stations in the DX Marathon Program. Please go to www.dxmarathon.com for more information.
